Calendar Basics

For Digital Scrapbooking Day, I am giving away the beginnings of my Mostly Done series. This set contains the basics to create small calendars (both badge and brag book (4x6) size. Included are date strips, day strip and months.
This set is available free for this weekend only. 4shared
Also visit my K*Joi store for 50% the few kits I have there, again just for the weekend. I hope to get my first Mostly Done for the Birthday Star kit and perhaps a copy of my CSI kit.
Have a happy and busy DSD!

New Animals

Well, we did it again! About a month ago, we got a llama and then last Saturday in a whirlwind tour around Kansas City we picked up a goat, 3 guinea, 2 peafowl and a mimosa tree. What a menagree!

Here is CoCo. She came with the name Maggie, but be already have a pain named Maggie, so miss oreo is named after Chocolate. She has skin injures on her face and legs and her fur is very matted. No hope for the fur until spring. She will come for food, but still won't let us touch her.

Read more about our animals on our Measure of Their Creation Blog.

Birthday Star - Date Wheel

datewheelI was so excited when I received my invitation to join the designers at K*Joi Studios. Then I started sorting through my partial kits and found nothing ready to post. I started to rework my entry into Faith Sisters and the kit has taken on a life of its own - gotta find a stopping place soon and put it into my store. This morning I got the date wheel finished and wanted to share, actually wanted to find someone to test it out and give feedback. *Freebie no longer available - check out my K*Joi store for full kit *
Look for the full kit ad in a few days. To use the date wheel, open the files in order, part 1 on the bottom, then rotate to the desired position. The papers may or may not make it into the full kit.

The Big Reveal at K*Joi

Whoo Hoo! I made it! I am a new Diva at K*Joi Studios. I went through the contest as contestant # 24301D. To the right, you can see my entries into the contest and my various avitars. We had a blast and now we are unleased on the general public. Watch out! Here we come.
Many of us have made extra freebies from our kits. I have created 2 more templates: Together and Family Time. The paper and 2 frames (prince and princess) are an add-on to my favorite week: Magic/Fantasy. Download freebie and check out my previous freebie from the same kit. I had planned on a bigger freebie, but I have to get my store together. There will be some freebies there as well before the weekend is over.
Along with the big reveal and the whole crew is having a big party this weekend! Join me at 10 am on Saturday morning for a Cartoon Chat.

SAS Cast Party

Whew! The Stone Accent Studio's Next SASsy Lady contest was a whirlwind of creating kits and I actually had a blast. A big Thank You to everyone that made comments on my blog and 4shared account!
As a thank you, I have created 2 brag book sized pages from each kit I made for the contest. I can just see your favorite 4 Alarm Chili recipe in the Police one on the right or your own little devil in the one on the left. How about a picture of your childhood home in the top Heritage page with a family picture of your grandparents in the other. Both of the Butterfly Garden pages are perfect for a cover page, I designed the green one for recipes and the purple for photos of flowers or your kiddies in the flowers. 4shared
Can't wait to see what you do with these pages. Email me at katlen124(at)gmail(dot)com.

See the rest of the Cast Party ~ a special thanks to Nani for organizing this party!
